Organizer Rocio Sáenz speaks with the press, likely during the 1995 janitors strike. An immigrant from Mexico, Sáenz worked low-wage jobs in Los Angeles before working for the ILGWU, HERE Local 11, and then SEIU Local 399. She spoke often to the Spanish language press during Justice for Janitors campaign actions in the early 1990s. She later moved to Boston and was elected an and later became an International Executive Vice President of SEIU in 2013.
